Welcome to the first edition of this blog. Before I begin discussing, putting forth my views, giving sermons etc. there is just one simple question that I wish to pose before you. Have you ever felt the child within you gushing to come out at certain moments when people around you disapprove of your child-like demeanour? Is it not but natural for us to display our innocuous feelings of innocence in a childsih manner, probably with a chuckle or an expressive laughter?
So, this is who I am. I am childish,free-spirited,carefree and everjoyous when I am in certain rewarding/happy/proud situations. For eg:- My colleague wins an award at his job. What people might do is, walk up the dais, accept the reward with (read) so called sophistication, do some knowledge sharing on how they won this award, give a thanks or two here and there and walk back to their seats amidst the not-so-thunderous applause that was bestowed upon them. What would I do in such a situation you may ask? I will walk onto the stage, hold the award, smile with glee, clap for myself, give a thanks to the well deserved people and would dance all my way back to my seat. How would others react? Well have you ever seen a child ever caring about what others might think of his/her actions!;)
Such is the power of child-like qualities that, if retained and used in the correct way, it can keep you merry and inspire others for the better! Keep waiting for the next issue of 'And they say I'm a child!'
